MCCIA youth fellowship aspires to inspire young minds. This year about 5 young candidates will join to become industry ready and the year-long activity is all about grooming and honing the skillsets of fellows and giving them exposure to multiple industries.

About Fellowship

Details Of The Program

  1. 5 young professionals will be selected to be a part of the program. These professionals can have 0 to 2 year of work experience.
  2. Each professional will be selected based on their ability to contribute to a vertical at the Chamber (eg – Economic Research Unit, social media and content writing, Data Analytics, sustainability and Marketing,) and spends about 70% of their bandwidth working under the vertical they are selected for. The remaining 30% of bandwidth is utilized for working under other verticals on rotation, to give the candidate exposure to other areas as well.
  3. A key component of the program includes value-adding activities like monthly meetings with Director General, monthly lunch sessions with renowned personalities/industry veterans from Pune city, regular factory/company visits with HODs, etc.
  4. It will also involve working on different projects and reports based on the candidate's areas of interest (For eg. a project on MSME/ START UP sector, Centre of Excellence for Women Entrepreneur, Pune International Business Summit etc.) Excellent projects will be pushed for publication.

Selection Process

  1. CV + Assignment Screening
  2. First interview call - Primary phone call involving introduction and background understanding of a candidate.
  3. Group discussion - It will involve discussion on current and interesting topics that will evoke the thought process and response mechanism of a candidate.
  4. Interview with the Director General of MCCIA
